Yet again, my newspaper reading is spoilt by a misspelt word. Today’s clanger is ‘ambassdor’, obviously missing an ‘a’, at the bottom of page 8 of Sunday Life magazine, Sunday Age, Melbourne.
A lifetime of reading, studies in professional writing and editing, and employment in a printing shop make me aware, and annoyed by, errors.
